The Repair Manual wiring diagram shows the temp sensor wire leading to the gauge to be yellow with green stripe. I just confirmed that color scheme on my '87. It is the single spade connection and low on the thermostat housing.
My connection fell off last month and my gauge didn't read, so I know that wire does control the gauge in my case. |
