'89 suspension mods help

I would like to lower my '89 supra non turbo. Ride quality should not suffer too much from factory,(does not have TEMS). The goal is a better handling result with a lower stance. Should I change wheels/tires too? Are coil overs the better choice? This will be a daily driver, not for track use. Thanks for any guidance.

I would say the best route to take is coilovers. Any set of coilovers will definitely give you your goal of better handling and adjustable heights for that lower stance. Wheels and tires of course would play a part on fitment wise but if your not planning on "slamming it" then you'll be fine. I was lucky enough to pick up some Megan Track Series Coils for $600 (used, but barely)! And I have those on my supra which has 225s/50/16 and is currently sitting at a little under an inch all around. And overall I'm happy with it's handling and looks!
