Thumbs down 1G- Sorry, going to get flak for this one...

I HAVE tried the search function, but when I click the input box, everything disappears. Problem with my phone I guess, but my laptop is broken...

Basically I'm a n00b with the 1GGTE, and I'm looking to do some mods before I swap it into something smaller than my tank of a Z20. Will be upgrading exhaust and turbo (GT28 still optimum?) but I don't know about upgrading on the intake end, etc. If there are some other pages regarding this, I'd be damn happy to get a link or two If anyone's got the time to help, even just a little quicky list of specific parts, we can delete this post afterward.

Sorry for the faux pas!

Heh, lucky for you I'M A NINJA!

Just click here to run the search.... The URL has the search query predefined.

I don't know of any options for the 1G other than the basics of adding a boost controller, fuel controller and/or upgrading turbos. The engine didn't make it to the North American market so other than the odd one showing up in Canada from time to time they're not really heard of. There are a couple members who do own or have owned them that have posted here in the past and hopefully the search will lead you to them. Other than all of that you might try the UK Supra owners forum www.mkiiisupra.net

Good luck with it.

Ah, thanks a lot! Your ninja skills are much appreciated lol

Sometimes I start saving for a J swap, then I find some cool/rare bits like factory aero parts, or find something to restore... I could have done it twice by now I think!

Well, we've all got our priorities. Personally, I wouldn't put any money into the engine unless it's for parts I can use on whatever I swap in later... If the swap is a given or if you're still undecided. If decide you're keeping the 1G then do whatever you like, of course.
