Combo light switch going bad

Ok so my tail lights and rear side markers and maybe the License plate will not come on I checked the relay, taillight Failure sensor, bulbs and fuse. So I'm asking could the combo switch go bad to where only these lights don't work but all other lights still do work also my brake lights still work.

All of the lights you are talking about are part of the TAIL circuit which has it's own fuse. The failure module is only suspect if the front markers and dash lighting is functional. The circuit does have it's own contacts in the combination switch. That's where I would start as well.

All lights work including front markers, headlights, fog lights, all gauges, turn signals, and brake lights when brake pedal is pressed. Only lights that don't work r the tails, rear markers and License plate lights. I did the Failure module bypass by jumping the wires and still only brake light work no tails still. I think it's the combo switch ill test it tomarrow. Thanks
