Need new oil pump drive shaft

This rebuild is turning into a nightmare for me. My machine shop is replacing the oil pump driveshaft bearings and am having a problem having the driveshaft fitting in after replacement. After two sets of bearings finally got it in them. When turning the driveshaft, it spins to a hard spot. It takes more than 50 in/lbs to turn past it. THey took it apart, put it onto some v-blocks and found that the driveshaft is bent. Does anyone know where to get a new driveshaft? I already tried at the dealer but the shaft is the only part of the assembly that is no longer available.

Thanks for any help!!

Champion Toyota (their website is at www.toyotaworld.com) still lists it as available: 13612-42020 not the cheapest part though... $145. MSRP is $194. I might look for a good, used one first. It's the same part for the 5M and 6M engines.

Thanks for checking that but i have called them and many other dealers and they say that the part is discontinued. They are telling me that there are no more of these in the country. Is there any aftermarket places that would make this part or any suggestions on what to do? A machine shop said that they could straighten it and magniflux it to check for cracks but i would rather get a new one.

No third party makes them as far as I know. The best you'd find is a "reman" which would amount to the same thing that you'd get from your own shop straightening and inspecting your original. I've purchased a few "no more in the country" parts from Champion so it's worth calling them and giving them the precise part number. Often the guys at the parts counter only see a package which would include a kit of the drive shaft, retainer, seal and fastener. If Champion can't get it either then I recommend contacting Jeff Lange on SupraMania about getting one from his dealership (in Canada) or ordering one from Japan.
