Rear heater hose Keeps blowing

I have a new rebuilt 7mge and it keeps blowing a tear in the rear heater hose on the top of the head. It happened 3 times once before the build and 2 times after. The hose is a non-molded hose. Thinking of trying the stock Toyota molded hose to see if that lastes or or bend a piece of copper tubing and fitting it What u guy think.

A non-molded hose will create a pressure point at the bend, as well as restrict flow. I haven't ever had a problem with a new, molded hose. You can go OEM Toyota like you said, or just go to the parts store and have them find a hose with the right bend and diameters and cut it to fit.

+1 on the molded hose.
