driving then stereo goes off,gauges go off, no start
 

recently i was driving my 87 supra and i just finished pumping gas and as i take off my stereo goes off then my gauges except for my mph gagues go off. its driveable but since im worried i pull to to the side of the road and turn the car off. as i try to turn it back on i get a no crack and check if my headlights go on and they are on. idk what it is its happend to me a couple of times already. the whole times this happend my headlights were the only thing that turned on. :dunno:

May be a bad ignition switch. The speedometer will work just because its mechanical. The systems you describe not working all rely on the ignition switch, whereas the headlights do not.

thanks ill go ahead and buy a new ignition switch. it was weird cus it happend to a jetta my brother had. oh my luck lol
