Timing Belt Case Replacement/Repair

My timing belt case is leaking coolant.
Has anyone installed TB case without removing oil pan successfully (no oil leak)? If so please explain your method.
Any ideas on repairing TB case crack or pit without removal?
Thanks to all.

If you're referring to the lower, rear timing belt cover there are bigger things preventing you from pulling it.... The head gasket seals it at the top and because of the oil seals in it you can't slide it in and the up (in which case you'd still have to loosen the pan but you'll never get it to seal without pulling it and thoroughly cleaning it).

The short version you don't want to hear: pull head & pull oil pan.
