cold start injector flowrate?

Wondering if anyone knows how much fuel the 7m's cold start injectors flows? Might use it for a project but wanna get an idea of how much fuel I flows, pressure needed etc.. I figured it'd be around 100cc's, prolly needs to see standard (43.5ish) fuel pressure. If anyone has any info is appreciate it, thanks!

No idea, but I bet the atomization is crap. If you're thinking water or meth injection I'd look for a decent, used fuel injector.

At any rate it's easy enough to measure flow at 100% duty cycle. Connect the actual pump you'll be using, and supply the injector 12v for 6 seconds.... measure what sprayed into the glass or graduated cylinder. Multiply by 10. Keep in mind that you don't want to run any injector on a 100% duty cycle for very long. The odds are that it won't be long lived if you do. Under normal circumstances the pressure may be below that of normal operation given that it is only open while the starter is cranking and then only for a few seconds before the sensor warms up and cuts power. I really think you should test with the pump you're planning on using.

Additionally, you cannot use the CSI time switch to control the injector (unless you only want it to spray when the engine is cold and then for only about 5 seconds).

yea, i have totes full of bags of injectors of various sizes, so ive got options. project idea was: i just bought an 89 sentra with a 1.6 and 5 speed. great on gas, still pretty snappy, and everything on the car works (down to the a/c). ive got a couple extra m62 superchargers sitting around, and since this 1.6 is TBI with lots of space between the hood and TB, i could plop one of those on there, use a bolt to hold the bypass open and limit boost to about 4-5 psi, and have a nice lil cruiser that still got good mileage.

the m62 only uses about 2-5% engine power when at part throttle cruise with the BPV open, so highway mileage would still be great, but town driving would see a wallop of increase. what im trying to prevent, is running lean and detonation. so i wanted to plumb an extra injector in there, run with a pressure switch that kicked on at 3-4 psi to add some extra fuel.

i know its ghetto, but i figured hey, the trucks almost done, talon is running for the time being and ive got other extra vehicles around here to drive if need be; why not dick with the perfect running one?? haha.
