If you've followed all the directions and done everything properly (shaved head and block, RA at or less than the HG manufacturer's spec, torqued to the manufacturer's specs (95ft lbs for studs on the 7M, IIRC), applied RTV where indicated in the TSRM before putting the HG on, etc.... then you've got at least as good of a seal as it had coming out of the factory. Cruising you shouldn't see boost at all unless you're climbing a hill and when accelerating mildly it's not that much of a shock to the system. In short... If you're going to do something wrong in this whole project you've probably already done it. Now chill and just drive chill for a bit. When I say to shift at 4.5K I don't mean push the pedal to the floor until you hit it and then slam it again in the next gear. Haven't you ever ridden with a mellow driver? R E L A X.
