Well, they're giving away gauges if you buy a LC-1.... NICE. I might have to pickup a couple.

Anyway, the LC-1 is the only one of the two which I have experience with and I've found it to be quite reliable and it tracks the age of the sensor and maintains calibration very well. I have no problem recommending this wideband controller.

The first one seems kind of like they packed the innards of the LC-1 into a gauge. It's probably not a bad unit but let's be honest about the most important factor..... that gauge is FUGLY! I am pleased to see that it does have the one serial and two analog outputs though.

But the lc1 is just the sensor into a cable right? It connects to a computer and i would have to get a gauge.(just theyre giving you one )aha right?

Read the description on the pages you're linking to. The "DB kit" IS an LC-1 AND a gauge. It's $10 more than just the LC-1.

EDIT: I'll add that while I'm not a big fan of numeric displays for active monitoring they aren't terrible. You've just got to get used to where they're located and if driving read FAST and get your eyes back on the road where they belong. Analog and bar displays are easier to get a general idea about what it's trying to tell you quickly... but they're also a little less accurate (how much so depends on the increments of the display). Besides... this way you can change out the gauge for any other one you like later on if you wish.
