A cold test is unreliable. Do it again with the engine warmed up as much as possible while still permitting you to handle it... It's best to do this by running it up to operating temp and letting it cool a bit with the hood open or work with gloves. This allows the components to cool enough to handle on the outside while the internals remain warm.
