mkiii lsd differential

Does anyone know if you can weld an lsd? i like the sound that the 240s make like the screeching of the tires and i want that on my 87 supra.

This is a joke, right?

:umno::gtfo::roflwtf:
stay with LSD in my personal opinion its better than a welded rear end...
maby if you had an open differential it would be alright...

I'll swap you a rear end you could weld up -or i will weld it up for you, for the LSD you have, assuming the LSD works
I'm just downin Fresno, i can make the drive to swap with you!

No it is children who are impressed with sight and sound instead of true performance. Like the brat when I was a kid who frequently disconnected a spark plug in his car so it sounded "bad".

Really if you want the testosterone, stud American car, buy it!:p

It works perfectly fine i just like the welded diff better. If you are willing to do it sure.

i doubt there would be any performance differences other than the wear on your rear tires.
in a 4x4 this is what you want... in a car LSD would be the better idea for sure:bigthumb:

Nathanmkiii 02-01-2012 01:55 AM

i know that in performance it wont do anything but i like the screeching of the tires when parking alot. lol i know that alot of people are probably saying wtf is wrong with you but its wat i like.

Then rebuild the LSD with a strong preload; Completely sacrificing hard cornering traction is a waste. Kids.... :dunno: </old fart commentary>
