The hollow bolt will have two maybe three holes drilled into it; All about 3mm in dia. The Banjo fitting is shaped like a tire with a hole drilled in on end for the outlet nipple. When you insert the bolt, it does not matter where those holes point, the fuel will flow around the inside of the banjo until it finds its exit.
