Online TSRM cygnusx1.net GONE!?
Is it just me or is http://cygnusx1.net down and/or totally removed!? It has been two days since I have been able to access it and would be sad if this is permanent. Does anyone know anything about this?

well, the TSRM is still up.
http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/ As is the TEWD http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TEWD/MK3/ |

hmm...very strange, guess the redirect is not working for me. Thanks for clearing it up! I was worried it was taken down right in the middle of my head rebuild.

I made a PDF of it (I also have the physical TSRM mind you...)
If you want one, let me know and I will fire you a link. |
If that site went down allot of people would be in hot water..

I have PDFs (great for text searches), HAD physical copies (best for thumbing through if you're not sure under which section you'll find what you're looking for), and have a website backup (easier to navigate sometimes).

making a pdf is probably a good idea.

Time to start archiving i think.
I came here just for this question. For some reason the site is down. I DID find it on th Internet Archive. I'd suggest backing up as much as we can as a community in case the site doesn't return.:stickpoke

Just to be safe... I'm scraping the site. (I will have an external copy of everything that way).
It's one of those resources that would really suck to lose. I don't know if whoever is responsible for its placement gets the appropriate credit for it. But if something adverse happens in the future, at least I will be able to serve it up for the community. Otherwise... it will just live in a zip file on my remote drive... |
