Have you checked to make sure you didn't accidently unplug a vacuum line from the wastegate?

If you are only hitting 8-9 psi it might not be fuel cut. I think it kicks in at a little higher pressure. Are you using an aftermarket boost gauge? The stock one isn't very accurate especially above 8psi.

When you keep it floored it cuts out? In gear? Have you checked for any codes?

That's not pricey. That's what they cost. I do think u can get one on eBay for $10 less. But I would buy from a company.

I have one and it works great. The downside is u loose the safety of a fuel cut. It just eliminates it.

He definatly can be hitting fuel cut at 9 pounds on a 7m stock ecu. But doesn't sound right to gain that much more boost with just a downpipe thou. I would for sure check the wastegate vac line.

Very few air/fuel controllers will help your fuel cut. And they are WAY WAY more expensive then $135!

The absolute best route will always be a full standalone. You get the best of all worlds. You have a fuel cut and it will be fully adjustable. Plus all the other perks will the fuel control. But with the slight mods you have and 8lbs. Then the HKS FCD is perfect for u.

Don't get to excited with boost WITHOUT supporting mods or you will blow your engine.
