what are these plugs?

Hi!
I'd love to know what they are too - ta!-- with regards to the coil pack being earthed - YES!!!!!!!! - my coil pack earth wire was on the point of parting company so I made up a new one---longer than the old one - - twin wires connected at each end with a ring connector and made sure they made a good clean contact both ends --one to the plate with a small self-tapping screw and the other to the CYLINDER HEAD at the inlet manifold clamp-up stud/ nut . absolutely no problems starting once the engine turns over.

Really? could you take a picture of the ground wire for the coil pack?

Hi! Re : earth wire :
From memory , I made up a new earth wire because my old one was in a very poor condition , by drilling a hole to fit a new self-tapping screw between the coil leads for easy screwdriver access at the front of the plate and then measuring and making a new lead to fit the inlet manifold clamp-up bolt/nut on the cylinder head . It's a very good idea to check the continuity at this point as it is now very easy to repair/check/clean -not forgetting that the plate is electrically insulated by the rubber mounting grommets . No starting problems now , especially since I fitted the relay mod to the starter, kicks in every time now!
