is 4 grand enough??
i have a na 92 mk3 supra, and i want to do a 1jz swap, do you guys think 4g's would be enough?

depends on how much the motor costs, and if youre going to put it in yourself or have a shop do it.
motors run between 1k and 2k (just guessing) and you usually plan on at least twice the engine cost to do the swap. if rebuilding then its more. jz engines have a very good track record, so rebuilding may not be necessary. but check whatever you get over thoroughly. if you are doing the swap yourself, write out a budget and parts list before you do anything else. have a plan, and dont just dive in (ask me why not). work out all parts you will need and want to have, and have a goal in mind, what you want your car to do in the end. that will make your budget estimates much easier to figure for the whole project. |

Best way is to get a 1jz front clip they go for 2500-4000 an more. With a 1jz clip u will have everything u need and u will know the miles on it from the gauges pod to

it should be good----- but hard to put them on |
dude, my Supra is a hole in the ground in which I shovel money. A good way to know what will break next is what has not been replaced. Though he is worth it!
