I got 30,000 k but I don't think the ones they sent me r 30,000k because they r not that blue mine r white bluish. The blue led fog light I had was way more blue then my HIDs like also as blue as the cop lights that's what he made me change.

The kits sound very nice, my guy has weak headlamps and it is very dark in the countryside. Otherwise he is driving OK and is a change of pace from the "lawnmower".
Oh does anyone have any feedback on that firm?

are those a sealed beam or a composite where you can use a normal bulb? where did you get them from and how much did they cost you?

I have the same looking housing but mine has a led halo ring that goes around the edge. I'm running HIDs in them

bbullsj 05-18-2011 04:22 PM

what brand are they, where did you get them and how much did they cost?

My mechanic said part of my problem was the cars wiring. So in the web page of the company it wrote something about another harness. I am not sure if stronger lights without a wiring upgrade is just a good thing.

The hid kitS hook up to the battery for the 12v's then they have another plug that plugs into one of the h4 oem plug so when u turn ur lights on it tell the hid to come on. Just like a switch

Yeah, if you're going to skimp on anything it might as well be your lighting..... :frown:

The cheap Chinese enclosures don't focus the light anywhere useful, are a cop magnet, blind other drivers, are not DOT approved (and hence an illegal upgrade in all states), tend to leak.... shall I go on? I won't start on the HID kits themselves (you're better pulling the OEM setup off a high end donor in a salvage yard).

Also keep an eye on your local legislation, there's been a big push in recent years to begin aggressively pursuing owners who make such modifications. I think this is bull$h!t, but it's caused by certain types of people who think it's cool do drive a car that'll cause sunburn if exposed too long.

Headlight rewire: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...ys/relays.html A worthwhile mod on most older vehicles (and a surprising number of newer ones).

That said, I'm done wasting my time on this topic.
