never heard of them myself, but they look decent. contact the company and see who the parent company is, then do some research on them.

i dnt know much but as far as spring rates go could someone please explain how this works to me. im slow and new to this.
|
well from what i could find, these sound like progressive rate springs. front- 14, rear- 12. so it takes 14 lbs to compress them 1mm in the front, 12 lbs in the rear. as they go farther down, it takes more weight to compress them. linear rate springs are rated in total weight settings i believe (dont quote me!) for instance- 240lb springs take 240 lbs to be compressed 1 inch. it also depends on whether the company is saying metric or standard.
so who knows, like i said, contact the company, ask them these same questions. if they cant give you any info, i say bogus and bag em. ppl who dont know their product arent worth buying from. |
I think this is a good example of "you get what you pay for". Even a set of megan racings run about 1000 and they are on the cheap side. Unfortunately they are probably cheaply made in china.

damn dude, did you bother to check Rockauto? also might want to consider if your talking adjustable by TEMS or manually.. two different things.
|
agreed. totally forgot the supra had the electronic suspension. but yea i think those coilovers are prolly gonna be a let down. i remember buying some "coilovers" for my old 93 altima a long time ago, boy that was a saaad investment. 100 bux (springs only) and the kit had like 15 mismatched pieces. what do you know, the company wouldnt return emails, etc afterword.
i research everything i buy on ebay now, extensively, and have much better luck now. |
I don't have any idea about this, hope you may found some useful suggestion from others.

I heard mixed things about buying parts on ebay. some are good most are bad. especially be weary of OEM type parts. I believe cre ordered something like the top ball joint and had it fail almost immediately or something along those lines. But sometimes the deals listed are TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.. which probably means they are.. Bummer.
Now for stuff like the dash bord.. gauges.. other things along those line, seat covers. middle console cover. go for it. Just make sure you get anything mechanically important form valid, authorizes, creditable retailers. |
