aluminum radiator

i was looking into getting an aluminum radiator and was wondering what brand or brands are a gd reliable one

i have been looking at koyo and mishimoto ones and are also curious about the cooling plates for the radiator and if those are really necessary or just a waste of money

i realize that this is a more important mod then some of the other ones i have been looking into since where i live its gonna get into the triple digits with weather

apologize about my constant posts but thank all those who have been helping

go with fidanza or mishimoto, and yes those cooling plates are a waste of money...when the weather hits triple digits, make sure you add water wetter...it will increase cooling efficiency

Water wetter does nothing for cooling efficiency, it's a dielectric and corrosion inhibitor. You may however run more plain water with it than you do with coolant and that is what cools better; Adding it to a 50/50 coolant/water mix is pointless.

I was really happy with my Koyo 1JZ. They're pretty inexpensive, well made and only require you to bend to pieces of aluminum to fit a MA70 chassis.
