mines being driven daily... have been a few unintentional opposite lock adventures around corners in the snow, enjoying every minute of it

Supra's in my driveway, daily driver. Once again... SoCal lol.
Although back in Billings the Cressida was my DD, and that was FUN in the snow |
With studs my MKIII was unarguably the best snow and ice car I've ever owned.
Unfortunately, I forgot how bad mid-engine cars are if they get away from you.... no studs on the MR2 yet and I slid into a thin street sign post sideways.... scraped the door and crushed the area by the intake. I have no idea what it's going to cost me to fix... I'm very upset about it. Snow tires really wouldn't have helped though, I hydroplaned over some slush and water and over corrected when I came off of it. |
I was tempted to put snow tires on the supra for this winter but thought it would be better to save it from the salt. I did put blizzak ws70's on the celica which has been doing pretty well. They are so much better than even a good all-season.

I got a six:rolleyes2 inch lift so I am good for the winter

In the garage awaiting parts. Replaced the entire exhaust with a Toyota stock system. My mechanic "you worry too much", we will use the old O2 sensor and the defusers off the old muffler. Well the O2 sensor was a screw in and some jerk welded on the defusers.
To make matters worse the cheap headers were welded into the front pipe in some of the worse welds I have ever seen. It is headed to recycle :) Having no takers the one piece Ford drive shaft is going with them. |
I hope you atleast bought off a discount toyota site like magauto.

Never heard of it, what is it?
