87 turbo manual randomly turns off when clutch pressed
When driving normal and the clutch is pushed in the engine just dies.....it doesnt do it all the time just say 1 out of 15 times

Any fault codes set? (tsrm will tell you how to check this)
http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar...ection=FI&P=23 I'd suspect possibly a TPS or AFM related code but if it shows a normal condition then the likely culprit is the idle speed control (ISC) valve, testing & cleaning of which is also covered in the tsrm, tsrm in fact is your supra survival guide & should be added to your favourites list immediately :D HTH EDIT-: by the way, the SST (special service tool) referred to in the link I posted is simply a bit of wire you use to bridge the specified connectors... |

It's just choking? I presume your BOV is vented to atmosphere? That may be the problem.
