no fuel after swap

ok so i just got done moving my 7mge into my new shell and everything is wired
yet i cant seem to get fuel to my motor, is there an easy way to check my fuel pump for operation.

In the diagnostic box under the hood jump terminals "B+" and "FP" with a paperclip or small wire. This should kick your fuel pump on.

Sweet, another Supra owner in the Temecula/Murrieta area. I'm gonna be back in Temecula end of Jan

ok what else do i do besides just sticking a wire into the terminals
oh and i even disconnected the fuel line from the engine and i have ZERO fuel comming from the line when i try an turn the engine over. this is so frustrating:squint::frown:

Jumping FP and B+ bypasses a number of circuits. You don't need to do anything else when testing it.... just jumper the two and make sure that if any fuel lines are open that they are well isolated from the diagnostic box and that any exiting fuel will be caught and collected safely... there will be some sparks, not allot but enough to merit caution.

I don't believe that the ignition has to be on either, but the online reference is not up at the moment.... so, try the jumper with the jgnition off and if there is nothing try having someone turn the ignition to the "ON" position (without cranking it).

ok did that and i got no fuel still from the main fuel line.

Open your fuel door and remove your fuel cap. Put the jumper wire in at the diagnostic box. Listen for the pump making noise at the open fuel door. If you don't hear it, then start checking the fuel pump relay (I believe that is still used with the jumper wire). If you hear the fuel pump, then you may have a clogged line/fitler.

Check this link out, that will tell you everything you need to know about testing the EFI system.

so if the pump relay is no good that would cause me to get no noise from my pump correct. and what about my main efi relay would that effect any thing

If a relay is bad, it can cause the electrical flow to stop there. So yes, if your fuel pump relay is bad it can cause the pump to not run. I'm not sure about the EFI relay, I've never had to mess with it so I don't really have any knowledge regarding it. Follow the link I posted in the previous post, that should point you toward what you need to test, how to test it, and what order to test it in.

FP and B+ bypasses the fuel pump relay and resistor pack... it's a direct bypass, bypasses every other check. I thought this was the case but didn't want to state as much until I double checked.

Wow, look at that... I assumed it would use the relay so that there wouldn't be much current through that diagnostic box. So that makes diagnosing relatively easy now, if you jump the wire and don't hear the fuel pump, the you either have a bad fuel pump or bad wiring.
