I think what they are is the plugs for the actuators for the adjustable suspension that you don't have. I also have the same loose plugs. I'm guessing that toyota did not want to make too many different wiring harnesses so they made them all with these plugs.

The first and second pics look like the harness connection for the automatic transmission... M/T guys just get used to ignoring them, but that's the only 4 pin connector in that area that I can think of. Check the wire colors in the TEWD to verify.

The third pic does look like a connector for the TEMS option, but for not having been plugged in for 20 years, wow it does look clean... There should be a matching one on or near each strut tower.

Thanks for the help. Just didnt want to leave anything unplugged that would stop the car for starting. Turns out that the ignition coil went bad because there was no spark comming from it when i turned the key.
Lets hope the new one gets it to start :x:

Just a thought, did you reconnect the earth wire to the coil pack? Not sure if it's the same on N/A but on the turbo the coil pack has a seperate earth wire that needs to be hooked up (it was snapped on mine!)

The coil only has one plug comming from it and its plugged up. And it has a solid ground too. So im still lost on why its not sparking

Could be a faulty igniter (the GE motor also uses this system) or a fault within the distributor/rotor arm...

Hopefully this link will help with what to look at & where Mr. T has it hidden http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar....aspx?S=IG&P=1 hth

EDIT-: More specifically, this checklist should get you sorted http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar...Section=IG&P=5 Follow that baby & you'll find the problem in next to no time ;)

Cant be the igniter either cuz i tested it on my friends MK3 and it works fine. Im gonna replace the distributor and see what happens next
