No pulse
First thing I look for is check eng light operation. My rule is No check eng. lite NO START. Could you have left the ground lug off ? (Bolts to intake)

Anyone can get the factory manual in a pdf off of this website in the FAQ, also there is the one that's accessible online.
To get a paper copy, last time I checked (about 4 years ago) you could still get them new from Toyota. They also pop up on eBay from time to time.
