question about replacing strut
 

i have a bad strut on my car and was wondering if it was possible to just replace the suspension with coilover and i know nothing about suspension so would that fix my bad strut? or is that the wrong thing cause i get confused on suspension

coil overs would fix the problem. suspension is made up of a spring and a strut. Coil overs are usually an adjustable strut and spring that come already together. The coil over will be a stiffer ride than your current set up.
