Default benifits of 7mge to 7mgte swap

ive been doing some reasearch on a na to turbo swap on my 86.5.i can get a 7mgte complete with harness, computer&intercooler and all the tidbits for $600.00 and its got low mileage.but it seems a lot of work for 30 hp.my question is,is the 7mgte capable of more power without changeing out alot of parts for aftermarket?how about fuel economy&longevity?my supra has 56.000 garage kept miles on it.so i really dont need to do a motor swap.
