Painting Interior Colour?

3 Attachment(s)
So my interior is pretty plain and boring and i want to change it up a bit. But i dont know what colour to paint it. The outside is black and i was thinking maybe a light blue so i can get some blue and black bucket seats to match.
Here is what i was thinking. (photoshopped)

my opinion is that i like the first blue and the black. make sure you buy the cleaning solution or simple green and clean those plastics very hard. try to buy the paint from dupli-color for interiors. and a good clear coat. Good luck . F

There is a Carbon fibre kit for pretty well the entire dash as well. Dont know if you considered it or not.

I really like the blue and i was thinking of chucking some of these OBX Bucket Seats in there to continue the colour...

Thats not a bad idea. How much does carbon fibre cost but? isnt it quite pricey?

I was thinking maybe a black, blue and grey interior. My parents Magna has a black, grey and silver interior and i really like that. I'm just a bit bored with the grey :P

I used Photoshop and basically made a new layer. and painted the colour that i wanted it to be over where i wanted it to be. then set the layer to overlay. or soft light or something. Just play around with the different types of blending things and you'll find one that works

My friend did the carbon fiber cloth on his interior in his 94 celica. It takes some time and patience but it will look more modern and not so cheap like some painted interiors look.

Thats a cool way to come up with ideas for interior.....but i have yet to understand why they put blue interiors in cars im not a fan of blue and there is not much it matches other than white or blue for exterior ughh!!! changing or painting interior is a hassle and gets expensive

Yeah thats why i was going for painting the interior instead. I might even just respray them the original colour to make them look new and clean :)

And i photoshop everything before i do it. Bit off topic, but i lowered my car on photoshop so i could see what it looked like so i could decide weather to spend money on getting some lowering spring or not.

I'm not gonna lie. I have no idea what so ever. Only just had my Supra for a month and a half :P and its my first car. Make a post, i'm sure someone around here can help you out :)

Grandavi 10-25-2010 04:52 AM

87 and 88 (not sure about 89) tail lights are the same if I remember correctly. The 90 (3 lights across the back) will fit with some slight hole adjustments. My 87 has 90 tail lights on it.
