i was wondering how much could i sell my supra with a blown head gastket

Why don't you just fix it? Unless you want an American car, there are just no sports cars left under 60k.

If you like your car, than you should fix it! It's not that hard.

You need to send in the head to the shop for pressure testing, milling, etc. While it will cost you a bit it is worth the money

Try posting pics of the car/interior... I dont even know what year your talking about.. lol

Thats only if hes using a metal headgasket

It's only a necessity if it's a MHG... Having the head cleaned up and pressure tested is always a good idea, regardless of what gasket is used. Fortunately, most shops won't charge a large sum of money for the service

Of course it'd be smart to have it checked and made sure theirs no warpage. But unless he is using a mhg theirs no need to have it resurfaced unless he wants too..

If the Joker that replaced the head gasket before me, it would of saved us a lot of bother. After a lot of work the dealer found the crack in the head. It is close to the valve cover and was hard to spot. A simple pressure check would of spotted it.

i hav a 1990 turbo manuel. and iv gotten tha head checked they said my engine is weak and might need a whole new engine. When i first got it tha cooling meter or whatever it is was going up sayin it was gettin hott. then when i pulled over there was sum leakage and lil bit of smke (not much tho).
