Whats the best mkiii clutch with 1jzgte??
After driving my car for a month after the swap.. I went street racing and handed kids ass' to them.. clutch worked great on the drive home. The next day after work I was getting on the freeway clutch started slipping above 5psi.. so need less to say I should have put a clutch in before i swapped it in.. Whats the best clutch to get me going again? around $700. I have read about people using exedy heavy duty but i cant find one?? And is it possible to drop just the tranny? Way less room behind head then the 7mgte had! Any links or advice greatly appreciated

I'd check out supra-store.com and look at there selection of clutches. it will allow you to get a clutch that roughly matches your power output. Plus the products they sell are all quality. and its nice to know that you aren't getting crap.
Do Not buy a clutch off ebay.... Not a good idea. Been there! |
Nice, has any one used or heard anything about the SPEC clutches? perticulary the stage 2+...they are great prices if they work and last long
