If he seized it from that initial drive, would he be able to bump start it?

It's an easy enough test to see if it turns over by hand, so I'd do that first. If that checks out fine, then try Bill UK's test. If still no start, take it in to get tested.

So i just changed out the starter and it fired right up. Then i tore apart the old starter and solenoid and the windings had come apart and sieze against the shaft. Seems like that starter had a bad life lmfao. Im not sure how it happened but i know it blew the fuse at the same time. So im assuming a a large power surge somehow and it had just enough time to fry the started before blowing the fuse. Thank you all for the help though. I really appreciate it.

I went to try to start it and all I hear was a click. So I thought ok so I overheated my starter, then I waited half an hour and the same thing. So we roll started it and I drove it home. Haven't driven it since. So the starter just clicks now when I start it. Problem started when it overheated.

Hi!
I really recommend the relay mod to the starter as mentioned in this forum ,-fitted it myself to my car-what a difference!!- basically there are not enough amps going through the small wire to kick in the solenoid , so it just clicks and clicks and clicks .
