My 7MGTE is missfiring upon acceleration

It idles just fine, but especially when it is warm, it is missing a beat or two upon acceleration...anybody? Thanks in advance!

Somebody has seen this?! I know it could be a number of things, plug, wire, etc. I am looking for perhaps a common issue, or what to check first!

Start with the plugs to make sure they are ok and no oil is laying on top of them and causing them not to fire.
