will a knock sensor throw off my car?
 

i was wondering if a knock sensor will throw my car off its seems like it is struggling a lil like the timing is off but the timing is not off the sparks plugs are fine but idk if the sparks plugs wires are wrong or if its this sensor the check engine light is on but i need help

You should first check the codes that are present since your CEL is on. Look in the MkIII FAQ section for " How to check diagnostic codes." then use the tsrm to figure out what the code means.
