Best Buy on a New Radiator?

Could you all chime in with the best money for your Buck replacement radiator for the MK3?

Looking on Ebay I see them as low as $106 shipped to my door but also see that they list a plastic inlet and outlet.

What are your opinions on the best buy available right now, including warranties...?

What do you think about this one?

I recommend against cheaping out on anything as critical as cooling and oiling components. The cheapest performance radiator I would recommend would be the Supra radiator made by Koyo. It's intended for the 1JZ, but only needs one extra drain plug and two pieces of aluminum stock to clamp the fan shroud in place. This rad can be had for under $300.

If you're looking for an OEM equivalent, there are a number of brands that make these for a very low price... including Koyo.

Personally, even if you want to keep the car bone stock, the radiator is one of those things where I recommend you upgrade anyway.

EDIT: BTW, that's a Koyo knock off. ;)

Thanks

Yeah I will be looking for one, Thanks for responding so quickly. I just got back in from doing the swap from my black Supra to the Red one. I back flushed both after removal.

The one on the Red Supra is about 2/3rds the weight of the one from my Black car. I think the rad in my red car is a cheap after market and the one in my black is an original that had been rodded and repaired but many years ago..

After installation I noticed more than a weight difference. The heavier replacement radiator from my black car was channeling quick water where the previous one barely was moving it.

I started to Burp it and I noticed I could not get the temp guage to go up more than 1/4 of the way. The other rad would quickly climb to half mark and stay there but fluctuate under driving. After ideling 15 minutes the temp still did not go up past 1/4 not even warm enough to get real hot heat from the heater as I had it on high burping it.

Definately running at half the temp it was before.

Hopefully this will keep me rolling with AC till I get that Koyo!

We'll see how it does tomorrow with the AC.

My Poor Black Supra, she's being slowly cannibalized...

Thanks Again

ps can I utilize the oil cooler lines in the bottom of this other radiator that came off my auto Supra into my 5 speed or is there no point to it? I just butted and taped them closed for now.

UPDATE

It's all good Now, My car can drive or idle with the AC on and the temp never reached half way! I am so psyched!!!
