Car wants to die and warning light

Alright, first off I have a CEL and getting Code 22 when I run codes, also the car seems to want to die under acceleration at takes awhile to start up after sitting overnight..I had to replace the Air Filter hosing to a crappy flexhose I got from O'reillys due to cracking the hose taking it off, and the Air filter needs replacing horribly, could this possibly have anything to do with it? What else should I try? Also I'm getting the light on the far left lighting up as well and I can't figure out what it is...Thanks in advance for any help

Here is a pic of the light

That light is the low coolant light. There is a sensor in the bottom of the overflow bottom that measures the coolant level. Make sure that's filled to the "Fill" line and that the radiator is full too

Yep, i got the same light, put some fluid in turned it back on and it dissapeared.
Btw nice set there! I have one similar only instead of TRD its two crossed racing flags :bouncy:

So I figured out my problem...I just bought the car and haven't really drove it since I got it a few months ago and now looking at it the Coolant Temp Sensor and Coolant gauge sensor are screwed, the wires are not connected to anything to connect them to the actual sensors, they are just yellow, green and brown wires with no way to connect to the actual sensors, therefore my thermostat it just stuck open which is why my damn coolant was low..Any ideas how to get past this?

I'm not understanding the logic here.... The thermostat is a mechanical device, as it gets warm the spring contracts and opens it up allowing coolant to flow past it. This would not cause any coolant loss.

Only few ways to lose coolant; you're leaking it, you're burning it, or something's drinking it... Either way, look for wet spots, fill the overflow/radiator, park it uphill and burp any air out of it!

Oh, and fix your sensors/connectors. If you have to I believe you can order pigtails of the wiring harness from Toyota or a parts store, same with the sensors.

Yeah, I suppose I got some bad info and I understand that now, had a brain fart....I'm going to have to order that stuff from the Toyota dealer in town and hope for the best.
