well now my mk2's hood touches the 3000 pipe that im using for my new intake, i guess ill have to remove some insulation because it actually pushes my hood up a lil :(

sorta along the same topic.

My lex afm is a tad larger then my stock elbow to meter hose. (accordion hose)

think a 3.5inch coupler would work?

CanadianBak'inSupra 07-08-2010 07:25 PM

i think you mean piece 17886 b

not really sure what one you mean, but a picture would be sweetness...
im sure a coupler and a bit of modisizing will work!

Green7mgte 07-08-2010 08:57 PM

aye.. accordian hose.. or elbow to meter intake hose (technical) is what were both talking about.. my new lex afm is larger then the stock one by a good .5 inch or so. so it dosnt fit inside my old hose. so i figured getting a 3.5 inch coupler would solve the problem.

Your accordion hose is new right? If do, just heaat it with a hair dryer, wet the outer edge of the AFM's outlet with soapy water and PRESTO! it'll squeeze on.

If the hose is old, then you'll need a SHORT pipe of the same diameter and then yes a reducer... I'm sorry, i can't verify the sizes... ALL of my Supra parts have a new home now.
