HAC Sensor?????

Looking through my Supra today and I found an HAC sensor laying around in there. I have a 1JZ-GTE swapped in my 87 mk3. I have no idea what this HAC does, beside altitude pressure or something. Can you guys tell me if the Supra still uses this HAC sensor after a 1JZ swap? If so can you tell me where it is located or supposed to be so I can see if I have one installed?
Thanks!:bouncy:

Oh and by the way I tried to look this up in the searches, but HAC is too short and will not show up any threads :(

No, the 1JZ shouldn't need the HAC at all AFAIK... isn't it MAP based?

The HAC is essentially a MAP sensor which serves to provide a supplement to the AFM's measurements. It's mounted to the same support that the glove box's hinges are mounted to.

Thank you, I thought as much but was not sure. Definately MAP based.
