Default Cold Heater Hose and No Heat

I am wondering if no heat and cold heater hose that runs into the firewall on the passenger side could be related to any overheating issues.

I just burped my system again but this time turned the heat on high and got a couple of small bubbles out, then nothing.

I notice I have no heat and the heater hose was cool to the touch. Bad heater valve?

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated, would this mean a blocked heater core? Something not working?

I found this thread but I am not sure what hose they are referring to. Is it the bottom hose that is already on the VSV that gets attached to the top of the VSV? It is not very specific. They say the bottom hose that goes to the manifold. Still not clear on this.

Thanks!

you take the second vacume hose.. unhook it from the vsv and connect it to the TOP of the vsv.

least that what I made out of it.

Default Rad cap and Termo

Yeah guys I already replaced the thermostat and radiator cap but got them from AutoZone. The overflow bottle doesn't smell like exhaust my oil is clear and level holding, but I am still getting an over heating.

I pushed up on the PCV a lot and ran the car trying to burp it again. Now it has good heat and my temperature control seems to be working fine.

I am wondering if my Radiator is bad or if my water pumps blades have coroded from it sitting for 7 years. It gets hot but then again I don't have a working electric fan on it yet, but still it is cool out tonight and still it ran hot.

After cool down the reservoir was full of coolant was where it was before I ran it and the radiator is now low on fluid.

Obviously I have a blockage somewhere. The car runs great other than that. Fast and powerful.

The heater works good and the temp control works now but I still have this problem.

I am thinking of getting a BHG test at my local garage and from there going toward having the radiator checked.

If those check out I have to think about a bad fan clutch though it seems to test fine when I stick a rolled up magazine against it. It has force you can't stop the blades.

I don't see a great deal of flow looking down into the radiator, not like I would expect. I wonder if the water pump is just eaten up. It doesn't leak though.

It barely blows any bubbles when I was burping it even after I opoened up the coolant to the heater core. I am puzzeled.
Any Ideas???? I don't see a leak anywhere.

Default No Fan

Well then I must have a bad radiator, water pump or BHG starting cause I can't figure this damn thing out.

just a shot in the dark. (but it happened to me) I tightened one of my clamps down to much and was restricting the flow.. but your saying you are getting none at all. did you do the vsv test?
