Lights out in the cab

I have an 87 Supra, Turbo Targa. It's my project car and none of the lights in the cab work, dome, interior door light and door open light. Any ideas where I should look.

Already checked all the fuses.

No lights in cab

I don't have power going to the lights/connectors. Not sure where to look since I'm not that familiar witht he wiring of this car.

No Power

Check your 7.5amp fuse for the domelight/hazard behind the kick panel on the drivers side first off. Once you get power there likely you will still have trouble with the dome light.I posted what I did to fix mine so run a search on dome light and you will find my post.

Thanks, I'll check the fuse again tomorrow morning. As for the Dome, I'll check that solder point as well. Thanks for the help.

The dome lights is a common problem on the Supra. I had made a post a little while back, but due to unfortunate events with that Supra and a lack of a camera now, I could not add the pictures that I wanted to include with it. Typically, the problem is not the power going to the circuit; it's the ground it connects to. I'll see if I can find my old post and link it here...

EDIT: Found the thread, check it HERE. Thanks batmmannn for the last pic of the screw through the solder

Dome Light

Yeah my Dome Light has gone to functional but no longer works when I open the door soooooo, I have dome lights when I push the buttons but not when I open the door and there is no fade out function any more. Man these units are finicky. It was working perfectly, but I still have dome lights so I guess I can live with that for a while.

Would you say I need to look at the door switches or again go in and solder the connections within the dome light?

Love this forum. Got my lights all working, thanks to all those tips. As for the Dome ligtt, I tried the solder thing and backed away from that and found some small screws to use instead like the ealier posts stated. All lights in the cab are functioning now....

Now to my next issue.....lol
