whats the best way to port the exhaust mainifold on this car me and my boy have the mainifold off the car and we r tryin to get the gases to flow 2 the turbo better pics r great if u can the tools and how is the ''best way'' 2 do it thankz

haven't heard of anyone porting the manifold... sounds like a bad idea because of the amount of heat it has to take...

The easy may to port a manifold is to get a new gasket, remove the manifold from the head, place the gasket on the manifold mating surface and out line where the manifold sticks out from the gasket. Them use a dremal tool to cut away the extra material. The same thing can be done to the head's exhaust ports so that the exhaust flows freely through the ports and the manifold. I would mess with the head unless you have it off the car. You can pick up a few HP with this and should see better turbo spool.

if you dont have a flow bench you can hurt power by doing so. its easier to get an aftermarket manifold. secondly, if you cut the cast iron one too much it can crack when heated.
