Crank case ventilation =the first thing
Valve cover gaskets/oil plugs=the second thing

what should i do about the crank case ventilation problem, and i think it may be the valve cover because there is oil in the middlle section of the head.

buy a oil catch can

install new valve cover gaskets

take out oil plugs and clean threads and reinstall with rtv sealant

you also do not need the center cover that the plugs wires go through

alot of turbo cars just spit oil out of the turbo you can try to control it like 907mge said but you'll probably come to find its all but useless and it doesnt really affect anything unless its bad enough to see smoke from your exhaust i see it all day long at work even on big name turbos like greddy and precision i honestly cant say ive ever seen a turbo car with more than 10,000 miles on it with no oil in the piping/intercooler just be happy you dont drive a bmw 335i they spit oil like no other from day one

Heh, I'm with Fullthrottle... Hell, just pull the IC, drill and tap for a drain plug, flush the IC out and reinstall it.

but the oil getting on my maf isnt going to hurt it, my maf actauly just went out on me, but i do not know if it directly related to that. im not really worried about it unless it does directly involve making my maf go bad

You can buy a nice catch can for about 120 and 30 for a cheap one and they are not that hard to install.

You have an AFM, not a MAF... To be more specific you have a KVAFM (Karmann Vortex Air Flow Meter)... If you had a MAF that oil was getting on I'd be a little worried. If I had a KVAFM it was getting on I'd be freaking out. First of all, the AFM is upstream of the PCV inlet
(unless you've relocated it), for enough oil be coming out that it's actually pooling you've got serious blowby problems (see: bad rings). Second, that sensor is optical, for the optics and you're replacing it.

Start with doing a compression test to see what's going on.
