As I said, they're not mix and match. Either swap completely over to the GTE electronics or stick with GE electronics and add some aftermarket fuel control/tuning gear.

The dizzy will work in place of the CPS, but the GTE will not be able to use it as the ignition source. The GTE runs a wasted spark setup, the GE doesn't. Additionally, the GTE sends three different signals (three different wires) for spark to the igniter versus the GE which only uses one wire.

What other GE components are you trying to use?

Thanks for the info. i was trying to find that out. so now i know why that is. thats all i think that im using.

You'll need the GTE igniter and the coil packs.
