OD on all the time?

I was thinking about keeping OD on all the time to help with gas, will this hurt the tranny, engine or anything but performance?

dude I cant remember the last time I had my od off..

jason7504 04-09-2010 07:48 PM

is that normal for it to say "OD off" at lower speeds?

It should only show as off when the switch is turned off on the shifter. OD is just 4th gear in the auto tranny so if it is off, the tranny will only shift to 3rd at the highest.

That would indicate a transmission error code. Check the codes as detailed in the Automatic Transmission section of the TSRM.

Why it's your best friend, of course! :) clicky here... http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar....aspx?S=IN&P=1

Put that straight in favourites, you'll get very familiar with this in future as it's pretty much to the old testament what this forum is to the bible...
