2million in liability?
just in case you destroy a city block? lol, that seems like allot of coverage just for a vehicle. But i can understand if something REALLY bad happens. better safe then sorry I say.

Lol yea, I'm pretty sure the minimum coverage here is 1 million.

I think the difference in price is about $400/yr I think between 1 million and 2 million. I figure I might as well just go with the 2 million. You never know...

Vehicle, injuries, damages, lost wages, etc. I can see those adding up fairly quickly.

I pay about $120 per year, but it is PIP and liability to $250,000. I'm also 47 with a wife, 2 kids and a house. The only way I'd pay Collision and Comprehensive is if I can get 'Agreed Upon Value' classic car coverage from Haggerty Insurance or something similar. I looked into it for my classic '62 Thunderbird. It would cover C&C at an agreed value of about $25,000 and liability to $200,000 for $250 per year. But, that insurance comes with restrictions, like parked in an enclosed garage and not used for daily driving to work. Most standard insurance goes by book value, which is too small to what I believe is the true value.
