losing oil not sure why

well i go through a good bit of oil in two week about a quart its not smoking even a little bit not leaking a drop my guess would be the turbo needs rebuilt but there isnt any shaft play does any one have an opinon

The presence or lack of shaft play does not go hand in hand with a blown oil seal. Pull the lower intercooler pipe and check for accumulating oil. If that's relatively clear check the intake plenum for oil.... if your dipstick likes to pop out after driving for a bit you may be experiencing excessive blowby (bad rings); do a leak down test to further diagnose at this point.

sorry for the late reply but i looked in the intercooler for oil and found almost none not enough to be worried about none in the intake manifold and my dip stick stays in is it possible to lose oil out the exhaust side of the turbo or any oil through the valves i do have oil pressure that goes up and down
