im looking into purchasing a 88 turbo. the guy sent me some videos and im wondering if something could be possibly wrong with idle. seems to studder slightly

I listened to the video and I could hear a noticable knocking near the end of the clip.

Doesn't sound very healthy and it has 221K miles. It's hard to determine the overall condition of a car just by the way it sounds at idle.

I don't know what he is asking for the car but I woundn't buy it unless I had a chance to drive it first.

It sounds pretty good to me, but it would have been interesting to have heard it revved up a few times and see the oil pressure guage at the same time. All it might need is a tune up to get rid of the missing, but it is going to miss every once in a while when idling, not as much as the video shows though. A drive would be best though as mentioned before.

Seems there may be a vacuum leak, watch the tach, seems to be hunting, although very slightly.
