Ignition - key light........
 

There is a green light that goes around the key hole in the ignition. I stays on all the time. Can someone direct me to the cause? Also the floorboard light under the dash on the drivers side stay on also. Thanks for any help.

Does the dome light come on and turn off properly when the doors are closed? (when it's set to the right mode, naturally)

There are only a couple possibilities, a bad door switch is the most likely.

You were correct! Bad door switch! Did not make the connection in my head between the door and the ignition light - but it totally makes sense. Much thanks!
