Default R154 w/o ABS and with ABS

I just recently bought an 1989 Toyota Supra Turbo without a 5 speed transmission (non ABS) and would like to know if it's possible to installed the R154 with ABS?

I don't care about having ABS on my car since it doesn't from factory. I found a replacement one but it has ABS.

You should have no problem installing it. You just need to remove the ABS sensor and plug the hole. If the sensor is still in good condition, you can sell it in Classifieds.

The only difference is the sensor mounted in it... and that's not an issue. As reydio said, you can pull it and sell it or if you're not worried about making a buck off the part just leave it in and unplugged.

Depending on the year of each transmission you may need to swap the speedo driven gear to match the differential you are using; Otherwise your odometer and speedometer will be off and the ECU's speed signal will be false. If you've got a 3.91 LSD you want to use the driven gear with 10 32 on it... unfortunately, the number is on the gear itself. You do have to drain the gear oil to pull the driven gear, but it's worth while to change it anyway.
