1987 7mge cams
 

i have a 1987 7mge and i need new cams just wondering if i can use turbo cams the only reason i want to use them is they are free to me can somebody help

The intake cam is the only one that's different; offering just a little bit more lift and slightly different timing. Given that you'll need to completely reshim, I don't think it's worth the effort; they don't provide any measurable gain.

Thanks for your help ya my cams have too much play in them and my head is in the shop for burnt valves so insted of buying new cams I got some free ones hoping they would work just try to get it back up and running

Burnt valves?! How the hell did you manage that? Too much clearance in the shims won't cause that.. in fact it'd help reduce the likeliness.
